Stopped by for a quick bite of ramen and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. No frills, no craziness. Oni Reaper hit the spot with the right kick AND flavor. That’s something rare I’ve encountered since some spots go for pain or just the color red with no kick. Gyoza’s did their job, perfect crunch. My friend had her ramen with the vegetable broth and she cleared the entire bowl without looking up once. That speaks volumes. If you’re nearby, stop in, the food is good and atmosphere’s great.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews unless I feel it’s truly necessary\. I’m a regular customer here and have recommended this place to my family and friends many times, which makes this experience even more disappointing\. As a business owner myself, I understand how important it is to close on time\. However, your posted hours say you’re open until 10:00 PM\. I arrived at 9:38 PM to place a to\-go order, but the doors were already locked\. What bothered me the most wasn’t just the inconvenience of driving 25 minutes for my usual ramen and gyoza—it was that the kitchen staff laughed as if the situation was funny\. That level of unprofessionalism was very disappointing\. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be returning\.

A fantastic gem of a ramen restaurant! The atmosphere was laid back and the food was so authentic and tasty. Loved all the unique spices and flavor pairings they had. Also the generous portions were definitely a plus! P.S. when they say spicy they MEAN it! So good.

I ordered a oni reaper and they gave me extremely hard meat which has never happened to me before. I let them know that I would like it remind becuase the meat is extremely tough (literally jerky like) the guy with the gauged and piercings in his face tells me “that’s how it’s made to go, it’s made different” then continues to go “that’s how it’s made” I have never received my food from here with such horrible quality and then been basically told there’s nothing we can do about it. Don’t eat here if you like fresh food and good customer service!!! They will give you whatever they feel and treat you like it’s whatever. Gross customer service and food quality.

Spicy spicy ramen! Super generous portions and great ingredients. I have a high spice tolerance and even the mild spice ramen had some kick to it. My girlfriend had to get extra broth to water down her medium spice ramen, so respect the spice here! I got the garlic tongkatsu ramen and added a soft egg to it, also tried the chicken and rice. Both were fantastic choices. This is a solid spot for some delicious ramen in the heart of Deep Ellum!
